Faces, Philippines, May 2018
I have always been embarrassed to photograph people in the street. I prefer stones, landscapes. But doing portraits in the Philippines was a pleasure. People are smiling, gesturing with their fingers...
I got more adventurous, playing with the kids with my device. To choose which ones should be included here was very difficult.
I had 30 portraits at the start and in order to decide, I asked friends to give me their own choice.
Note
The funny thing is that the photo of the jeepney driver was chosen only by professionals. Still, this photo has great photographic quality. Everything is there: the movement, the look, ...
The whole TBS team, Saiprasad, Marie-Jeanne, Yvan Chocoloff (plongee-infos.com), Hubert Sacksteder (Photographer met at Cébu airport and who was going to exhibit at the Nancy Biennial), my daughter Jessica and I I must have forgotten some names, sorry...
Thanks again to all of you for helping me choose the photos.
