Corsica, France, September 2015
First visit on this wild island. The island is really beautiful. Wild sites just waiting to be explored. I was on the west coast, in the centre, near Propriano. I was able to visit Ajaccio but also to visit Bonifacio.
I stayed in a bungalow in a campsite. Every morning the garbage cans were knocked down. I thought of stray dogs. I had the explanation one night when driving back. What was not surprising to see, lighted by the lighthouses, a mother and two cubs. I better understood who was spilling the trash.
The boar, a symbol of Corsica, especially with cold cuts. But Corsica is also renowned for its very good cheeses, a delight.
