Dive in Corsica, France, September 2015
I had never dive in the Mediterranean. The temperature in early September was ideal, 78.8°F (26°C). What is especially striking is the temperature changes during the dive, the thermocline. It is a frequent phenomenon in the Mediterranean. You go from 78.8°F (26°C) to 64.4°F (18°C) in an instant. It cools … You can see it because the water is like a mirage, it seems slightly fuzzy.
Life was present, not as numerous as I hoped, but I could see beautiful things including a huge stingray.
