Dive, Le Pradet, France, July 2016
I had the opportunity to go diving in the Mediterranean Sea near Toulon and more specifically at Pradet. I regrouped several days, the last one in July.
The first dive took place at the end of March 2016. Well, the water was not really hot, 55°F (13°C) on the surface. We went down to 98ft (30m) with water at 50°F (10°C). At this temperature, I wore a semi-waterproof diving suit of 0.2p (7mm) but despite this, the cold is felt. Fortunately, after 30 minutes, end of dive … A warm chocolate was really welcome after to warm up.
I had the opportunity to dive twice on Gabinière, a beautiful reserve off Port-Cros where the grouper is very present. I was also able to dive on the Grec, a beautiful wreck at 131ft (40m). If you have the opportunity, make Gabinière and Grec, these two spots are worth seeing.
