The event is an opportunity to commemorate important periods in Vannes history by honoring characters and facts that have marked the history of the city. There are also medieval events: jousts, walkers, concerts. Each year, a different theme is given pride of place.

This event is really a moment of pleasure seeing these people in period costume stroll through the streets of the city. Troops also come from abroad like flag throwers from Italy.
