Rosas, Spain, July 2012
Rosas, by the sea, in Catalonia. You have to speak Spanish and, even better: Catalan. All road signs are in Spanish and Catalan. Many French cross-border workers also work in this city, close to the border...
If you strain your ears, you will be able to hear couples of parakeets, perched in the palm trees. They nested here and decided to take up permanent residence there.
In 2h30 you can reach Barcelona, which is worth the detour. A very nice visit that I traveled with the tourist buses, a good way to discover the city.
You can also take a short trip to Figueiras, which houses the Dali museum. You will be able to discover beautiful works there, including a famous fresco which reveals two motifs depending on where you look at it. On the photo, unfortunately, we see the 2 tables, the device is not deceived by the optical effect.
