"The Crash Line", Salon de Pce, France, May 2025
"The Crash Line" is a first for me, even if it is celebrating its 4th year at Salon de Provence. It is a rather festive event that allows you to discover companies or schools in the Salonais region.
The concept is to create a vehicle, without an engine, to travel the track with a launch slope, foam and chicanes.
But the key word is "Fun"...
My childhood friend, Alain, had told me about it. It sounded great. But in the end, I'm still disappointed. In the morning, there are few "soapboxes", with lengths between 2 boxes. The foam is only present at the 1st turn, but with a lot of parsement, unfortunately. The edges of the track without haystacks, prettier in photography and safer for the drivers.
There was no foam at the finish, this foam which is the key element of this party. Last year, there were also small bumps to unbalance the vehicles. We come to see "The Crash Line" to see that. It's part of the show.
So see you "next year"…
