It's grandiose, gigandesque. Even if the part visible in Mutianyu is long, it is difficult to imagine the whole Great Wall.
"He who has not climbed the Great Wall is not a true man." This quote from Mao Zedong is engraved in the minds of the Chinese who make the Great Wall a must in their lives.
So if the Chinese can do it, you can do it and you have to come. I admit that it's tiring but it's worth it.
