Like many Parisians, I had never visited the Palace of Versailles. I cannot thank Saiprasad enough, my Indian friend from Bangalore, for taking me there.

The rooms are magnificent and the garden huge. There is a certain magic to walking through the hall of mirrors with these streetlights and chandeliers from the past. There is so much to see that one visit is not really enough. I will come back...
