Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, France, November 2021
A short day under the sun of Vaucluse to (re)visit a city that I often crossed as a child to visit uncles or grandparents.
What makes Isle-sur-la-Sorgue so charming are the canals that cross the town, the waterwheels that turn nonchalantly... The weather is nice, the birds sing, the people of Isle enjoy the restaurant terraces or stroll through the streets of the past.
It is a city to see, to stop for a few hours, have a coffee near the Sorgue, visit the Collegiate Church of Notre Dame Angels. You can then continue your way to the Fontaine du Vaucluse, but this will be another adventure.
