Nabeul, Tunisia, September 2024
I'm not a fan of touristy places. I like the peace and quiet, meeting real people, not the touts, even if that's their livelihood......

I loved going to the seaside, sitting on the sand and gazing out at the sea. A moment of relaxation before tackling the souks. As soon as you enter, you are immediately in the atmosphere of the colours of Tunisia with the spices but also the traditional dress.
After this noisy and fragrant moment, a short break is in order. A cup of tea with squeezed orange juice at the Café ‘Maures’ was a treat. Especially with the 2 baklavas served at the same time. I've even listed its address in the ‘useful links’ section.

Thank you, Slim, for this little address, Le Café Maure, where I spent a few comforting minutes.
